Full Mouth Rehabilitation

Full mouth reconstruction · New Cairo

One coordinated plan to rebuild worn, damaged or missing teeth for comfort, function and confidence.

Full mouth rehabilitation brings several treatments together into one carefully sequenced plan when many teeth are worn, broken, missing or uncomfortable. The aim is a healthy mouth, a stable, comfortable bite and a smile you are happy to show — designed as a whole rather than one tooth at a time.

Who is it for?

It is usually recommended when problems affect much of the mouth rather than a single tooth. Typical situations include teeth worn short by grinding or acid erosion, multiple broken or heavily filled teeth, several missing teeth, old crowns and bridges that have failed, or a bite that causes jaw discomfort, headaches or repeated chipping. Many patients have postponed treatment for years and feel overwhelmed. Breaking everything into a clear plan, with priorities and phases, makes it manageable and helps you understand exactly what each step achieves.

How we plan it

Planning starts with a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, jaw joints and bite, together with digital X-rays, photographs and a 3D scan. Health comes first: decay, infection and gum disease are treated before anything is rebuilt. We then design the final result digitally, often testing the new tooth length and bite with temporary restorations before anything is permanent. Depending on your needs, the plan may combine crowns, veneers, implants, bridges, root canal treatment, orthodontics or dentures, including dentures held securely by implants.

Phases, comfort and long-term care

Full mouth rehabilitation is usually done in phases over several months, so treatment can fit your life and your budget. Temporary restorations keep you comfortable and presentable between stages. Each procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic, and longer sessions can be broken up if you prefer. Once complete, the results depend on maintenance: regular check-ups and professional cleaning, good home care and, very often, a night guard to protect your new restorations from grinding. We review your bite over time to keep everything balanced.

§Questions, answered

Full Mouth Rehabilitation

How long does full mouth rehabilitation take?

It depends entirely on what is needed. Some plans are completed in a few months; those involving implants or orthodontics take longer because of healing and tooth movement. We give you a phased timeline at the planning stage, so you know what to expect at every step.

Can it all be done at once?

Some stages can be grouped into longer appointments, but healing and bite testing mean most full-mouth plans are spread over several visits. Rushing can compromise comfort and longevity, so we balance speed with predictability and agree the pace with you.

What if I have many missing teeth?

Missing teeth can be replaced with implants, bridges, removable dentures or dentures held securely by implants. The best choice depends on your bone, gums, general health and preferences. We explain the advantages and limitations of each option for your case before you decide.

Results vary from person to person. Every treatment plan is decided after an in-person clinical examination.
